Description

The event will be organised online by the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest within the framework of the Erasmus+ Strategic partnership SEA-EU DOC project “Beyond academia: broadening the career horizons of doctoral students in marine and maritime sciences in Europe”.  The event will take place from 17 to 21 May 2021 and will be dedicated to the following topics: career paths beyond academia: career development planning, skills, networking, applying to a job offer and preparing for an interview. This event will bring together 60 doctoral students selected from the 6 SEA-EU universities. The number of participants for each university is set at 10 doctoral students.

Call for registration will close in March 31st, 2021. Depending on the number of registrations received, each university will internally proceed to a selection among the different applications received.

imultaneously, staff from the different doctoral schools of the SEA-EU universities will also participate in this Training Event from 18 to 20 May 2021 within the scope of a dedicated training called “How to guide your doctoral students in their career development?”
