Problem solving is ranked among the most in-demand job skills. The training event will be organized by the University of Split within the framework of the Erasmus+ Strategic partnership SEA-EU DOC project “Beyond academia: broadening the career horizons of doctoral students in marine and maritime sciences in Europe”. Training event will be dedicated to problem solving, using the TRIZ principles. Non-academic representatives from Split area will introduce “real-life” problems of businesses and students will apply learned techniques and their research skills in solving the concrete situation.
The event will bring together 60 participants selected from the 6 SEA-EU DOC universities: 9 doctoral students and 1 supervisor per each university. The students and supervisors from any field of research and study (natural sciences, humanities, social studies, technical sciences…) can apply, as long as they are related in some way to marine, maritime and coastal sciences.
