The aim of this internship is to produce an overview of the frequentation (based on available data) and legal situation for a dozen islands in France. According to the origin of the intern student, a comparison could be made with islands from his/her country. This information will be used as discussion material in an exchange seminar with islanders, protected areas’ managers and researchers (yet to be planned during the winter 2023-24)
