Olga Sánchez Guillamón has a PhD in Marine Sciences from the University of Cádiz; she works at the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO-CSIS). Although a PhD was not a prerequisite for her current position, she is happy to apply the acquired knowledge to work more efficiently and with higher quality.
